The short answer: Your Amazon listing was removed because you are missing a valid EU Responsible Person (also called EU Authorized Representative) on your product listing. To get it reinstated, you need to: (1) appoint an EU Responsible Person, (2) update your Seller Central listing with their name, address, email, and phone, and (3) wait 1–3 business days for Amazon to review. The entire process takes 2–5 business days from decision to live listing.
Why Amazon Is Removing Listings in 2026
Since 13 December 2024, the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) — Regulation (EU) 2023/988 — requires all consumer products sold to EU customers to have a designated Responsible Person established within the European Union.

Step 1: Understand What Amazon Is Asking For
When Amazon removes or suppresses a listing due to GPSR, the notification typically references one or more of the following missing fields in Seller Central:

Addresses that were accepted in 2024 may now be rejected if the provider has changed their registered address or ceased operations. If you received a new removal notice in 2026 despite having previously added a Responsible Person, verify that your provider's address is still current.
Step 2: Appoint an EU Responsible Person
If you do not already have an EU Responsible Person, you need to appoint one before you can update your listings. You have three options:

Step 3: Update Your Amazon Seller Central Listings
Once you have your EU Responsible Person details, update your listings in Amazon Seller Central:
