EU Compliance Knowledge Hub — Free Guides for Non-EU Sellers

The AuraDPP Knowledge Hub is a free resource centre for non-EU manufacturers, brand owners, and online marketplace sellers who need to understand and meet European Union product compliance requirements. Whether you sell on Amazon Europe, Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, or your own website, EU regulations apply to your products from the moment they enter the EU market.

EU Authorised Representative (EU AR)

Since 13 December 2024, every non-EU manufacturer selling consumer products in the EU must appoint an EU Authorised Representative — a legally registered entity within the EU that acts on their behalf with market surveillance authorities. The EU AR's name and address must appear on the product or its packaging. Learn about AuraDPP's EU AR Service · EU AR for Amazon Sellers.

GPSR — General Product Safety Regulation

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR, EU 2023/988) replaced the old General Product Safety Directive from December 2024 and applies to virtually all consumer products sold in the EU. GPSR requires a registered EU AR, product traceability, safety documentation, and incident reporting obligations. Read the GPSR Compliance Guide · Free GPSR Checklist.

Digital Product Passport (DPP)

The Digital Product Passport is a machine-readable data record linked to a product via QR code, introduced under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). DPPs are mandatory for batteries from 2027 and textiles from 2030, with further product categories to follow. Learn about Digital Product Passports.
