Product Categories Overview

Electronics is one of the most heavily regulated product categories in the EU. Products must carry CE marking, comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), RoHS restrictions on hazardous substances, and WEEE producer registration. Since 13 December 2024, GPSR also applies to all consumer electronics.
