Product Categories Overview

Cosmetics are one of the most strictly regulated product categories in the EU. The EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 requires every cosmetic product to have a Responsible Person (RP) established in the EU, a Product Information File (PIF), a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), and notification in the CPNP portal before placing on the market. GPSR also applies since 13 December 2024.
